Case Study:

Youth Sport for Development

Remote Harbor worked with an internationally respected sports-for-development organization to help it understand how its youth participants engaged with soccer-based outreach programs and the integrated health services it provides. Remote Harbor created a proprietary RemoteID-based health management information system that enabled staff to link services provided at the youth-friendly Department of Health clinic with the uptake of community sports outreach activity. Connecting these data to a reporting system enabled the organization to prove their theory of change: improving service provision in the clinics, tracking outreach program attendance, measuring the impact of its outreach with clinical outcomes, and showing funders their impact and challenges that still need support.

Results

  • 81% of youth believed RemoteID improved confidentiality of their data

  • 100% of health clinic and soccer program facilitators think RemoteID maintained or improved the quality of data collected about participants
