When local HIV testers found that privacy concerns about test results were preventing community members from learning their status, Remote Harbor developed a customized solution to anonymize the confidential process. The local organization was able to connect its program participation data with these testing data to create a granular, real-time picture of their progress and the challenges that lie ahead.
Results
Using RemoteID in the field, the local organization was able to document an increase in voluntary testing rates from 0.5% in the community at large to 88% of those offered HIV testing using RemoteID.
